Hartley Down apiary Sunday session
With the season (almost) in full swing, the Sunday apiary sessions are set to start again. There will be a variety of practical demonstrations for both beginner and intermediate beekeepers as well as the usual beekeeping chat and advice.

- Paul will host what will prove to be an excellent session for those of us that are looking to breed varroa resistance in our colonies.

- Make a Queen Frame Trap with Kathy O'Toole
- Whether you are treatment free or not, queen frame trapping (QFT) is a great technique to add to your integrated pest management. PLEASE NOTE: This event will be held in Kathy's garden, contact her to arrange.

- Derek Read will be running a session to demonstrate how to perform your first manipulations with your bees with the minimum amount of disruption to the colony.
